报告摘要：
In this talk, we will give an introduction to Deligne-Lusztig varieties. Their l-adic cohomology with compact support can be used to construct representations of finite groups of Lie type. We will also introduce the affine Deligne-Lusztig varietes defined by Rapoport. They are analogue of Deligne-Lusztig varieties. If time permits, we will discuss about its geometric properties and relation to the moduli spaces of p-divisible groups.
