报告摘要:We first, in this talk, briefly discuss the mating behavior of mosquitoes that has been least understood and most understudied among the critical behaviors that characterize the mosquito life strategy. We then exam a few mathematical models to show how the competitiveness of the released engineered mosquitoes plays an important role in the dynamics of the interactive wild and engineered mosquitoes and thus affects the biological control of mosquito-borne diseases.
