报告摘要:N. Byott conjectured that if A is a finite skew brace with solvable additive group, then the multiplicative group of A is also solvable. Proving or disproving this conjecture is currently an open problem. In 2018 A. Smoktunowicz and L. Vendramin have added this problem to Kourovka notebook. During the talk we are going to discuss progress in solving this problem. We will talk about the results of various authors, including the most recent results from 2025 and 2026. We do not plan to prove difficult statements, but I will still provide some evidence.
