报告摘要:

Quantum annealing is a general framework for solving combinatorial optimization problems, formulated as the task of finding the ground state of an Ising model. It harnesses quantum effects to search for solutions, beginning with a superposition of all possible states and gradually reducing quantum fluctuations until the system reaches a final classical state that represents the solution. In this talk, I will introduce the basic principles of quantum annealing from the ground up and then present several recent applications on real quantum devices, ranging from academic studies of non-equilibrium quantum dynamics to industrial applications already deployed in practice.
